One of the most important challenges of your career as a successful fashion designer is to get and maintain retail and/or media exposure for your brand.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to land that first buyer meeting. You can’t stop trying to expose or get appointments just because some buyers or media have turned you down. You have to get your product before the industry and you must be creative about finding the opportunities for showing your collections.

Emerging designers getting exposed is what E D G E is about. Remember that the fashion industry is filled with hundreds of thousands of designers/brands both established and emerging, and it quickly forgets those brands that are not visible or selling through at retail [which is the voice of the ultimate consumer].

Getting your designs/collections in the media exposes you to the public and can create demand.
