I got a grade of ‘D” on my first piece I made in my high school sewing class. I cried all the way home. The perceived failure was a gift in courage and determination to still pursue my dreams. Twenty years later, I became Vice President of Merchandising for the Walt Disney Company. EDGE followers, designers, retailers – real risk can bring real failures and mistakes, but the lessons can lead to long term success. Go for it!
